"From the moment you walk through the door, all members of staff make you feel really special, relaxed and extremely welcome. Going to a new environment and going for a new treatment that you may be a little unsure of can be daunting but the staff are very highly trained and personable.
Before stepping foot in the door of the Escape Health Club, Amanda was extremely diligent by answering an enquiry email which proceeded to more emails asking different questions. A chat was recommended face to face which quickly was arranged and put my mind at ease.
There is an initial consultation to determine the best areas for treatment and any other questions you may have. Amanda allowed one hour so that you can go ahead with the first treatment there and then if you wish. There is no extra cost associated with this.
There are no risks associated with the procedure, providing you are in good health, not receiving treatment for cancer, not insulin dependant diabetic or are on any steroid based tablets you can be treated.

The process involves transmitting sound waves directly to areas of the body with excess fat. These waves destroy the fat cells, which are turned to liquid, before being passed naturally through the body's lymphatic system.
Using an Ultrasonic head, Amanda can target specific areas of the body and break up fat cells as required. The wand which is lovely and warm is pressed lightly against the skin, giving a massaged sensation. During the treatment, you will feel relaxed and comfortable. Electric pads are placed around or on the area you would like to be treated e.g. your tummy, in the first instant there is a short tick on your skin which develops into a pulsating deep work out, while you sit or lay and read a magazine or listen to your I pod, after the 20 minutes you return to your daily duties immediately.
For 3 months after the procedure the problem zone continues decreasing without any further assistance.
The after treatment is extremely important. You need to drink 1.5 litres of water every day for the next 4 days, drink no alcohol, exercise where possible e.g. a good brisk walk, and eat sensibly e.g. fresh fruit vegetables etc and cut down on the carbs and NO sweet treats.
The treatment usually consists of one session a week and lasts over a 6 week period. It’s a short amount of time to be quite firm with yourself, and be strict on what you can and cannot eat. I was fortunate enough to lose 6 and ¾ inches off my waist and 4 and a half inches off my muffin top area.
Amanda takes such good care of her clients to makes sure they are treated with the greatest of respect. Male and female clients have a separate dedicated room which is lovely and warm, and nothing is too much trouble. No matter what age or size everyone is welcome you are treated as an individual, Amanda is so kind, helpful and easy going but extremely professional in all aspects of the treatment.
Amanda is so committed to the business she works 7 days a week and tries to fit in with all aspects of people’s working life. She also has an answer machine and an email system and even in her busy schedule she always gets back to her clients as soon as it is possible.
